College film student Conor Gray has been drawing for as far back as he can remember. Obsessed with cartoons and comic books from a very young age, he used to stay up at all hours of the night tracing and coloring characters ranging from Wolverine to Yogi Bear. Once in senior year of high school, Conor took his first-ever painting class, and from then on, all he did was paint (drawing very rarely). Besides paintings of human faces and animals, Conor took a special interest in painting architecture. Trying to put his artistic ability into something more practical, Conor went to the University of Massachusetts Lowell for Civil Engineering and was on-course for Architecture. He soon realized that engineering wasn't for him, though, and decided to transfer schools and change his area of study to Film and Video/Photography. Although his artistic efforts are now focused on film and video, he still regularly practices painting and drawing and is very excited to contribute to something as helpful and important as the Hesed Project.
